Pinnacle Surgery Center of Austin is committed to providing a safe experience for every patient. For most patients, a small, light meal is allowed up to 8 hours before your arrival time, and you may drink water up to 2 hours before your arrival time. These instructions may vary depending on the type of surgery you are having or whether you are taking a GLP-1 medication.
You will receive a phone call the day before your surgery to review and remind you of these instructions. If you have any questions, please contact us at (512) 553-1700.
Please contact your surgeons office to clarify any medications you may be taking and instruct you on what medications can be taken prior to your surgery.
If you have any change in health status such as cold, cough, or fever, please contact your surgeon or primary care physician immediately.
Pinnacle Surgery Center of Austin requires every patient to have a responsible person over the age of 18 to accompany them home after their surgery.
This is dependent on your surgeon and the type of surgery you are having. A nurse at Pinnacle Surgery Center of Austin and your doctor's office will notify you if any pre-operative testing is required for your surgery.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing/shoes.
